This award-winning home in Calas de Guisando, Ávila, claims just that! Honoured with the Spanish Architecture Award, it is located directly on the San Juan reservoir and offers spectacular views and private access to the water. But how environmentally conscious is it really?

In the centre of an ecologically sensitive area, the house blends seamlessly into nature. It respects the natural topography and literally floats above the ground to minimise the impact on its surroundings. The ultra-modern architecture combines aesthetics with environmental awareness. Robust and durable X-TEND stainless steel cable nets provide security and transparency so that the breathtaking views can be enjoyed undisturbed. This extraordinary home shows how luxury living can be designed with the environment in mind.
