Height nature trail with X-TEND

Breathtaking experience at a height of 65 meters

Pottenstein is located in the Franconian Switzerland / Veldenstein Forest Nature Park. Embedded in the beautiful landscape, the Pottenstein adventure cliff offers near natural and unique leisure experience.

The popular excursion destination was expanded in 2018 with the “Höhenlehrpfad”, which is a type treetop path, including the Skywalk. In addition to the modernization of the two summer bob tracks, other leisure attractions were built too. The way to the “Skywalk” leads from the new excursion restaurant via a kind of treetop path called “Höhenerlebnis”. There is variety here for young and old. If you walk the Skywalk to the end without fear of heights, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view of Franconian Switzerland at a height of 65 meters.

Safe at dizzying heights

The path to the Skywalk was secured with our Carl Stahl ARC X-TEND stainless steel cable mesh. Railing fillings made of stainless steel are the best choice for fall protection because they have a low weight. Compared to other common railing infills, meshes made of stainless steel have a high degree of flexibility and can create individual railings with little effort. Our X-TEND stainless steel cable mesh offers a filigree, transparent and modern option. In this way, safety and design are ideally combined. The biggest advantage here is that the magnificent view is not blocked.
