Charming residences right on the water

Quartier 52 ° Nord - in the middle of Berlin - is a mix of apartments for all generations. The barrier-free apartments, which are builded directly on the Dahme convey a special quality of life. Here natural space, leisure quality and industrial charm are combined with peace and serenity. This is where Berlin comes to rest. An eight-meter-deep walkway in front of the actual building should lead the individual apartments very close to the water - so that the apartment and water seem to merge. The footbridge is a hybrid of private balconies or open spaces and at the same time an access element.

Unique view set in the limelight

Quartier 52 ° Nord received the Award “deutscher Wohnungsbau 2020” an german Award for housing. The coherent overall concept played a major role here. Three materials are skilfully combined with each other and staged: wood, metal and concrete. In House 2, located in the middle, the apartments are connected to one another via the large-format floating walkway.
