X-LED sky for enthusiastic shop visitors

Sparkling LEDs throughout the complex

The diverse possibilities draw thousands of people to the Stuttgart shopping center Milaneo every day. The name is derived from the Mailänder Platz, where the building offers shopping experiences in around 200 shops on three levels. So that the many visitors of the Milaneo do not stand in the dark while shopping, strolling and strolling on the 43,000 m², the architects of the building rely on a dynamic light ceiling.

This luminous ceiling consists of the X-TEND stainless steel cable network, which holds more than 11,000 X-LED light points at lofty heights. This creates many glittering, illuminating effects that make the entire shopping center in Stuttgart shine in a sea of ​​light and colors. CARL STAHL ARCHITECTURE not only provided the high-quality technology and the well-engineered materials for this installation, but was also the decisive factor in the planning, the structural analysis and the assembly.

Milaneo - shop and dine under one roof

The Milaneo is one of the largest shopping centers in the southwest of Germany. Here, people can not only shop to their hearts' content, extensive feasting in one of the epicurean temples of enjoyment is also possible during opening hours. In addition to perfect illumination using the technology from CARL STAHL ARC, those responsible for the Milaneo have implemented another trend of the time.

In the three-story building, the people of Stuttgart can live in rented apartments. Many travelers also use the shopping mall because of the high quality integrated hotel. This use is favored by the proximity to the Stuttgart train station. Less than 800 meters, a very short taxi ride away, thousands of visitors arrive in Stuttgart every day.

Shopping center a complete success
