New climbing paradise for young and old

Safe and carefree romping

It shines in new splendour: from May 2022 to July 2022, the Oberer Bau adventure playground with adjacent pump track in the idyllic Faurndau near Göppingen was renovated. In addition to a large sand play area, a new play facility with a variety of play options such as a ropeway and a large ruin for climbing, running and romping was also built. All sustainably crafted from wood and built on the foundations of the old facility, the adventure playground impresses with its modern look.

Climbing allowed!

The highlight is the play tower with tube slide, which towers above the other playground equipment. From here, the entire playground can be overlooked. To ensure the necessary safety an X-TEND stainless steel mesh from Carl Stahl Architektur was chosen. On the one hand, it serves as a fall protection. At the same time, due to the high transparency of the black stainless steel mesh, the view is not restricted, which ensures a good overview of the playground. The flexibility of the stainless stees mesh also makes carefree playing, romping and climbing a matter of course.

X-TEND – Always the right choice!

The X-TEND Colours stainless steel mesh used here is black with a mesh size of 40 mm and a rope diameter of 1.5 mm. A 6 mm stainless steel cable serves as the border construction, which is kept in tension by a swageless turnbuckle and is guided by eye nuts. Measurement, planning, assembly – all in one hand.
