On the gym of the Rahn School in Leipzig in Germany, a 910 square meter X-TEND stainless steel cable mesh is protecting the pupils from falling down and the football or basketball from leaving the area. Therefore, the transparency of the mesh is a great characteristic to create a sports playground in dizzy heigths openly and safely.
280 sqaure meters of the mesh were installed with a mesh width of 40 millimeters, above that, a wider mesh width of 150 millimeters was used. For the border cables and cables in between, I-SYS stainless steel wire rope systems were used with a rope cable diameter of 8, 10 and 12 millimeters.
