Safety out of stainless steel

Safety plays an important role in daily life – we face various safety and protection measures everywhere. Constructions out of stainless steel cables and meshes are used in numerous sectors as safety measure.

For safety applications, in most cases stainless steel wire ropes are used as border constructions, intermediate ropes or even step through preventions for stainless steel cable mesh as well as for floor to ceiling stair safety. Also for horizontal protection, wire ropes of the I-SYS product programm meet many requirements of safety applications.

More about I-SYS

X-TEND stainless steel cable mesh offers safety and appears open and reticent due to its transparency. The three-dimensional flexibility helps to adapt the mesh ideally on to different courses of stairs, façades and hazardous areas.

More about X-TEND

Technical information

X-TEND stainless steel cable mesh requires its support structure to handle the forces generated by the mesh’s tension. X-TEND meshes always create tensions in different extents that have an effect on the supporting structure. Pre-tension forces, impact loads or wind, ice and snow loads belong to the general forces.
