In school sports, club sports or with the professionals, the custom-made
X-TEND ball catch nets, such as those used in the Tennis Grand Slam tournament at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris, ensure that spectators do not be hit by massive tennis balls and watch the great rallies of their favorite athletes in peace.

Fall protection for sports enthusiasts

Another interesting construction project in the sports and safety sector can be seen in the Passau sports center. Here, a flexible, yet highly stable X-TEND stainless steel safety net with a mesh size of 40mm and a rope thickness of 1.5 mm was attached to the edge of the spectator seats, which protects indoor sports fans from balls that shoot out and, thanks to its transparency, a clear view on the game happening. The safety railing provides the necessary safety against falling for the spectators.

A comparable concept was also adapted at the CAMPO DE FÚTBOL MARTORELL in Barcelona. An X-TEND CXS railing filling with a mesh width of 60mm serves on the one hand as protection against flying balls and on the other hand it is an important fall protection for the fans. & Nbsp;
