Safe climbing exploits

The 26th Regional Garden Show of Baden-Württemberg took place in Schwäbisch Gmünd between 30 April and 12 October. The motto was "Between heaven and earth". Following this motto, something exciting was designed and built for children - the Netzvilla.

The children could really let off steam on several storeys, consisting of springy nets in sloping metal brackets. To ensure that no-one could fall out of the eight metre high construction, the builders arranged for the X-TEND stainless steel safety mesh to surround the entire play equipment. An advantage, the X-TEND stainless steel mesh is self-resilient. This meant that there was no risk of injury for the children.

Lots of space to marvel

At the 26th State Horticultural Show, 1,000 newly planted trees, flowers scattered over 6,000 m² of meadow and 30,000 planted perennials - the variety of plants at the 26th State Horticultural Show was highly impressive. On 30 hectares, equivalent to 42 football pitches, water landscapes, forests and agricultural land were distributed.

Although it was exciting for adults, many of the children were not always 100% enthusiastic about it. So the organizers thought about how they could make the little ones happy. The idea with the net villa was implemented by the company Corocord, known as experts for play spacenets, in an entertaining and safe way. The meshes were the perfect place for unrestrained play. The X-TEND Colours Black stainless steel safety mesh used ensured that there was no danger to the children on the eight-metre high net villa.
