FUN AND GAMES FOR CAPUCHIN MONKEYS

Augsburg has a zoological history going right back to the Middle Ages. The city acquired its first elephant in 802 A.D. – a gift from Caliph Harun al Rashid to Emperor Charlemagne. Today, the zoo is home to some 1,600 animals. An X-TEND enclosure with an unusual mesh geometry houses the capuchin monkeys. The transparent netting is attached to two ball-mounted swivel supports, offering an unobstructed view of the animals.
